it's august.. 2 months away from VCE. what have i been up to?
studying? (i wish.)
here's what i've been doing. first up, another example of what VCE stress does to sane, albeit slightly weird, 17 or 18 year olds. they dance around the corridors.. engage in daily lunchtime poker sessions. for those who don't play poker.. we whip out our camera phones and start camwhoring. :D
other weird things include drawing random pictures.. that, my friends, is a cartoon of me bursting into gloria's cousin arnold in the toilet T_T a couple of months ago.
i think till today her cousin is still terrified of me and can't look me in the face.
even though i didn't see anything :P
more random drawing melina drew me, mesmerized by a chocolate bar.
anyway, i digress, back to the topic of weird year 12's.
stress makes them sit on imaginary chairs.. started a fad, then everyone wanted to try and sit on an imaginary chair. i opened my locker one day, and a balloon bounced out.
i still dunno who put it in my locker, but it's pretty darn cute. i decided i'm gonna name him charles humphrey.. no lol. :D i duno.
as a testament to what i get up to when i'm stressed.. d'you reckon i look stressed out?
i also realized that lately i've been eating alot of sinful food.
chocolate cherry jubilee at pancake parlour.. brunetti's cake.. (i can't help the fact that uni is so close to lygon street, and brunetti's is on lygon street.. and they do happen to have the most delectable display of cakes in many glass tiles.. T_T oh, it's a sight to behold..)
sarah's birthday dinner at Hard Rock Cafe on bourke st. basilie and i shared ribs/chicken, coz we couldn't decide which one would be better. nachos.. i luuuuuuuuuuuuuuurve nachos ;)
and just the other night, before the school play, zhen and i had dinner at Wagamama in the city. it's a fusion jap restaurant up in QV, opposite max brenner's. they went for a sorta contemporary approach, lots of space and glass windows, high ceilings. i give them points for the ambience but the food was.. well. i think they were abit over-enthusiastic with the contemporary approach.
katsu something i really just picked whatever i thought would be quickest, coz we were rushing. the rice was standard, the pork was .. overly cripsy and nowhere near succulent enough =( basically, it was sorta dry. and the curry wasn't very generous, as you can tell, so i was basically shovelling dry pork and rice down. meh. i wouldn't recommend it again, melbourne has SO many other better places..
this is sarah. it was her 18th not too long ago.. and she just got her braces off :D oh it's disgraceful how bad i look.. but this wasn't the worst of the photos. too many cameras, too big a group, nobody knows where to look and everyone gets tired of smiling and ends up blinking with a rather forced grin. :( of all the cameras, i chose to shut my eyes when MY camera was used. darn.
and before going to sarah's 18th.. i was at youth alive. it was loud. i left early. and i think i'm outgrowing it, like i felt abit over it. but i heard the message was good, and i missed that -_-

however, unbeknownst to me.. gloria happened to be eyeing the exact same camera lol this ALWAYS happens when we shop together.. we reach for the same pair of boots and find out that the other person whos hand is on the other side of the shoe is each other. and we announce that we're looking at new cameras and discover that we're looking at the same one. she's already got hers. i was gonna get one too, but my dad called me today and said that the shop guy recommended another camera. my first question : IS IT PINK?!! i know, i am so shallow and trivial is disgraceful :( i looked it up, it looks pretty sick :D just as sexy as the other one. right.. um.. other than that, i also went to the melb uni open day. it was crap. i walked around for ages trying to find free balloons but i couldn't find anything. melina walked around scabbing all the free stuff she could get T_T INCLUDING ROSES FROM OFF THE GROUND I HEAR ...
sad, melina, sad. :P
all i got out of melbourne uni open day is that i decided i wanna do a concurrent diploma of a language during my degree, only i don't quite know what yet. i didn't even find the free balloons :( so i'm still one confused person.
pris and basilie bought me into the anatomy room in melb uni. i swear, i didn't know my stomach was acrobatic till before that. it was doing cartwheels and i began to feel the overwhelming urge to gag. pris however, just got really excited talking about a smoke-damaged, tar-blackened lung T_T
i watched die hard 4.0 after that. bruce willis is an awesome actor. i loved the lines, i loved the action, and i even liked the predictability no-brainness of it, which was actually really satisfying. i think i was just in the mood to watch things explode and people die, coz .. i duno, year 12 makes me crave blood =D
CARNIVAL DAY coming up on weds, gonna take lots of photos for the last time with my old camera.. bring my trekkies and jump on the jumping castle EEK ;D and stuff myself silly.

nah.. it's not stress, i just tried to wedge myself into the lockers outside the library, 
this is before i got stuck, happily wiggling further into the locker. maggie had to rescue me later.
