today i forgot my ipod when i went to chinese, so i went back to my locker to get it.

to my horror, i found melina knelt in front of my locker in the midst of breaking into it.

anyway, having been busted and forced to return to $ "monies" as she would say, back, she turned on her feminine wiles and proceeded to extort a whole lasagne in the canteen from vikrum.

anyways, enough about smelly. went out for dinner tonight with some old guy who's my grandpa's bff homie in da hood ;)

he shouted us all dinner at templestowe hotel, some sort of buffet.
there wasn't much to do, thank God michelle was there and at least i had someone to photowhore with. *examines fingernails and flutters eyelashes in an airy bimbotic manner*
i knowwww i should have been studying, but it's a friday, and like. free food ?! lol.

i love calamari rings! did i mention, my mum bought a new deep fryer recently and i went nuts at safeway! i bought up like, their whole frozen food section.

omg. as if i haven't put in enough effort for my detailed study already. chinese teacher says it's not good enough, chinese tutor nearly makes me cry when she tells me that i'm too impatient and not interested and it's my attitude blah blah.

i would be patient, but i have a sac next week. i'm interested, but i'm more worried about getting it done. i'm frustrated, because i've tried and no one seems to see that.

i can't seem to do anything right anymore.

carnival day post.

all day long everyone was busy taking photos of our last ever carnival day. i think most of the teachers just gave up and let everyone camwhore their hearts out.

30 days of high school left all up.

oh.my.gawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwd.

i wish i was like Piper from charmed, where i just whip my hands out and freeze time.

imagine how convenient it would be to have a power like that.

you feel the urge to pick your nose or something equally rude, like fart, in public, you freeze time, pick it or fart or whatever, and then unfreeze and go on doing whatever you were doing before.

melina would probably just freeze time, eat everyone's food, and then unfreeze it and sit there smacking her lips smugly while everyone goes into a frenzy wondering where their food has gone -.-

and the best part is, you don't lose time. you pick up where you left off!!

i would freeze time, and then raid all the lolly stores in the nearest vicinity, and oh, maybe those clothes stores as well..

SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!!

i really need to get down to studying, but the trouble is everyone decided to cram all these tests and sacs in and so there's just no room for revision because we're all scrambling to keep up.

finally, after passing the first 4 periods eating cake and taking pictures.. we got out at lunch! you can't really see the carnival day decorations here, but it was bright and sunny and really perfect weather, just my favorite.
i couldn't find the rest of the girls, so i ambled around with these guys first, on a search for krispy kreme.
i got so excited, i ran at some girl waving my arms in excitement and practically yelled in her face "WHERE DID YOU GET THE KRISPY KREMES?!!"
she gave me an alarmed look and jabbed a finger towards the E wings.

there were other distractions.. CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN mmmm.. i almost wished i manning the stall, i would have put my whole face in there.

but obviously since doing that would have appeared a little psychotic, i settled for a stick of chocolate coated gooey marshmallow and strawberry goodness.

emily happy biting into a krispy kreme. mmmmmmmmm~ they are man's second best food invention, after chocolate. i had so many sweet things that i felt a bit sick after.
got tired of hanging around the guys after emily left, so i went off with tracy and gina instead. we decided to get our faces painted and took awhile to decide what to get painted on. tracy suggested getting moustaches so we made her go first.
i think that was a sideways look of apprehension. she looks like she was already regretting it. LOL.
we are the mustachios! LOL it was really embarrassing, people started shooting us amused looks and i wanted to hide behind something. i spotted my sister, (omg, ULTIMATE humiliation) and turned around as quickly as i could, but tracy was really uncooperative and yelled 'XINNI YOU'RE SO SEXY'!

first up, another example of what VCE stress does to sane, albeit slightly weird, 17 or 18 year olds.

basilie and i shared ribs/chicken, coz we couldn't decide which one would be better.

and just the other night, before the school play, zhen and i had dinner at Wagamama in the city. it's a fusion jap restaurant up in QV, opposite max brenner's. they went for a sorta contemporary approach, lots of space and glass windows, high ceilings. i give them points for the ambience but the food was.. well. i think they were abit over-enthusiastic with the contemporary approach.

i really just picked whatever i thought would be quickest, coz we were rushing. the rice was standard, the pork was .. overly cripsy and nowhere near succulent enough =( basically, it was sorta dry. and the curry wasn't very generous, as you can tell, so i was basically shovelling dry pork and rice down. meh. i wouldn't recommend it again, melbourne has SO many other better places..

this is sarah. it was her 18th not too long ago.. and she just got her braces off :D
oh it's disgraceful how bad i look.. but this wasn't the worst of the photos.
too many cameras, too big a group, nobody knows where to look and everyone gets tired of smiling and ends up blinking with a rather forced grin.

and before going to sarah's 18th.. i was at youth alive.

right.. um.. other than that, i also went to the melb uni open day. it was crap.
i walked around for ages trying to find free balloons but i couldn't find anything.
melina walked around scabbing all the free stuff she could get T_T INCLUDING ROSES FROM OFF THE GROUND I HEAR ...

all i got out of melbourne uni open day is that i decided i wanna do a concurrent diploma of a language during my degree, only i don't quite know what yet.
i didn't even find the free balloons :(
so i'm still one confused person.

pris and basilie bought me into the anatomy room in melb uni. i swear, i didn't know my stomach was acrobatic till before that. it was doing cartwheels and i began to feel the overwhelming urge to gag. pris however, just got really excited talking about a smoke-damaged, tar-blackened lung T_T

i watched die hard 4.0 after that. bruce willis is an awesome actor. i loved the lines, i loved the action, and i even liked the predictability no-brainness of it, which was actually really satisfying. i think i was just in the mood to watch things explode and people die, coz .. i duno, year 12 makes me crave blood =D
