i lost the fizz to blog for a bit before & after exams. i suppose it's due to all that stress and monotony. to be honest, life during that period was pretty damn boring..

hmm, where to start. well it's first of december, last month of the year, summer's here, etc. past couple of days the weather's been absolutely glorious. makes me wanna sing when i wake up to bright sunny skies and warm sun.
anyway i guess i'll update from the latest of my photos. (ever so handy to have photos chronicling the stuff you do, especially for people like me with the memory span of a goldfish ^^)
CHADDY VIP NIGHT. happens only once a year from 5.00 to MIDNIGHT. where every insane, albeit normal female flocks to the fashion capital to max out their credit card, empty their (or their unlucky boyfriend's) wallets, and shop till they drop. upon arriving, we discovered chaddy was packed in with raging shoppers eager to scoop up the best bargains. and bargains there were in generous quantities. nearly every shop had some sort of price reduction to offer. suckers like me cannot resist. i tried dresses until my arms went limp from zipping up zips. :( and yet i couldn't find anything particularly to my liking. well, there was this ONE dress which both gloria and i tried (go figure, that girl's taste and mine in clothes are pretty similar) and she bought. i'm proud to say that i spent the least amongst my friends. hoho. not that it's a big achievement because since the holidays started i've been shopping like a maniac.
tim showed up to very kindly give us a lift home.
he showed up like that. i wondered what the ocassion was :D but i think tim just likes dressing up like a girl. :p hahaha no lah i'm joking, we went to toys'r'us..
all tired and shopped out. (five hours of shopping - i beg to differ when people comment about my lack of exercise.)
the next day i had course confo at school. we got our YEAR 12 JUMPERS. they were pretty expensive -_-'' but i rather like being exclusive to the whole school. makes me feel like they're all little minions stuck in high school while i am out in one glorious year :p
convinced jan to come with me all the way to chapel street to buy this dress i've been agonizing over for nearly a year now. well worth the wait, because the price was slashed from a whopping close to five hundred to two hundred something. wee! although they didn't have the color i liked originally, but hey. i got the dress. and i'm happy! i also managed to forage a steal - a custom dress, down from 400 to 99. WHAT A BARGAIN. since then i've never really been able to look at a discount the same way again. so instead of buying 1 dress, i ended up buying 2.. (self control.. self control) ARE THEY NOT GORGEOUS?! so smug about my 99 dollar dress still.
they are hanging very happily in my wardrobe while my wallet licks its wounds. my life savings are now under 2 digits, and i cannot even withdraw 20 dollars from the ATM. it says i have insufficient funds. Good Lord. i'm too young to declare bankruptcy. special thanks to jan who came all the way with me despite suffering That Time of the Month. she was plagued by awful pains and kept on moaning about her ovaries dropping out. i think she was slightly delirious from the pain.
on saturday, the youth decided to head to CHELSEA to catch some sun and spray. but the dodgy weather forecast was pretty off, so after heading all the way there we found it rainy and overcast. NOT the right beach weather for tanning in the least.
we were pretty disgruntled and went to doncaster aquarena instead. the pool's a poor substitute for the real thing. my phone also drowned in an unfortunate turn of events.
the only thing it does now is vibrate. anyone want a free vibrator?
let's have a minute of silence to mourn for my dearly departed companion who has left for heaven. say HI to my new best friend. the t610 from jan. thanks jan, you're a lifesaver. it plays sex and the city theme as a ringtone too :D hehehe.
i also watched three movies in three days. the prestige (very confusing), the departed (very sudden); thanks mel for the shout. and step up (HOTGUYHOTGUYHOTGUYHOTGUYHOTGUY) his name is channing tantum, the same guy who was amanda byrne's love interest in She's The Man. what can i say, i love a good chick flick with a hot guy in it.

jan and friends. this is galactic circus, kingpin bowling. i broke a nail that i'd painstakenly left to grow out. i was devastated. you know how much time and self control it is for me to grow a nail? life is so unfair sometimes.
mm. went to the zoo with isaac on wednesday. one of the best days of the whole entire year i would say. weather makes such a difference. it was BEAUTIFUL :) the kind of weather that made me feel like i was here on holiday, and not really living here.

we got a map. :p and isaac diligently worked out a route for us while i took random photos.
at the entrance were 2 brilliant peacocks who were chased away by a troop of excited children. meet bob and bill.
early on the route, we passed the hippos. we were like.. eh? where's the hippo? and stood scratching our heads puzzledly. see if you can spot it.
the fat lazy thing was basking in the sun -_-'' and looked like a rock.
aww how cute. it's a family!
i refuse to believe that. -_-'' whoever wrote that must have a brain the size of a pea.
i love lions. so feral and all sinewy, nothing but muscle.kings.
isaac was very excited when he saw the giant tortoise. (after arguing with me about whether a tortoise was a reptile or amphibian. pfft. put him in fourth grade science class in singapore and he'd fail) anyway i think he likes it because he can relate to it sleeping all day.

my feet were killing me. i was in so much pain that i stupidly took off my shoes and walked around barefoot, burnt the soles off my feet and put my shoes on, subjecting myself to more pain. it was then that i decided i need a pair of havvies to walk me through summer.
reminds me a bit of maurice.
oh man, i almost forgot. we went into a bugs&butterflies greenhouse. do you know how i feel about bugs? anyway, there were butterflies everywhere just flying around, huge. and .. equally huge caterpillars. my first instinct was to retch when i suddenly saw this HUGE CATERPILLAR fatter than any i've ever seen before, slumped on the branch of a plant (i thought it was part of the plant) and then i thought about oompa loompas and how they eat mashed caterpillars.. meh. my stomach rebelled. other than that, the butterflies were really pretty.. pity they live only a week or so.
got my havvies. YAY.!
another new dress i bought.
today i decided to devote my time to beautifying my room.
it's in abit of a mess at the moment.
i put up some photos and printed stuff.. yes i have a reigning crush on jerry yan, i don't care if he's gay but it's absolute bollocks coz nobody that hot could be gay.
my curtain hasn't come in yet. but the heaters that white box you see sitting near the corner and with it more photos.
i'm getting a new bookcase and desk soon!
and then i got bored and went sunbaking while reading an old edition of cleo.
this is grandma busy in the kitchen. we have guests tonight. ugh, it's too hot for guests. anyway..
i've been reading a new series by nora roberts. i thought it was fantasy but it turned out to be sort of romance as well, so every character is hooking up and having raging sex of all types (love sex, angry sex, rar rar rar.) i'm glad they're enjoying themselves, but i just wanna know what happens to the damn vampires.! -_-''
