AIYA! i tried to change my skin like 341238741029 times already.. but for some reason that annoying "rewind" skin.. - purely a mistake by the way since that skin is nowhere near what i wanted.. but yeah, i got sick of the previous one and decided to go for a change.
not that now is a good time to be messing with html or whatever, since i'm in the midst of exams. unlike singapore, the exams here aren't all painfully squeezed into the duration of one short week, but rather spread out in a somewhat leisurely fashion, if you don't count all the outcomes in.
my day started out rather awfully. i walked into my psych class to have my teacher(back from her two week holiday in time for the exam - gee what a big help) walk up to me and tell me 'i'm sorry dear, i really couldn't find your SAC in the library.' OMG. heart dropped into stomach, panic ensued, and brain immediately went blank. wordlessly i headed to the library to search for it, praying that it'd be there somewhere. didn't stay long there because of those ferocious dragons they call librarians. it's strange how all of them are anal every single day all the time. i think it must be a developed quality after spending extensive hours cooped up in a place where you have to talk in hushed whispers. (not that they adhere to that, because that particularly unpleasant glass-eyed librarian seems to love yelling at the top of her lungs) but yeah, i reckon i'd go round the bend too. in any case, after fuming for a whole period about the sheer irresponsibility and vagueness, the teacher came up to me to tell me that she'd found it and (ha-ha, oh-so-funny, what-a-big-fuss-over-nothing) it'd been sitting in her pidgeonhole. thank you God.
you can somewhat imagine the content of my thoughts then. i'll leave it up to your creativity.
by the way, the general exam isn't hard - it's simply tedious and awfully long, so a tip to everyone who has yet to do it : time yourself well or you won't finish it.
as i was saying, methods exam is up in a week along with a psych SAC and 2 weeks after that, the big psych exam. wish me luck all, i'm going to have to cram like crazy. not looking forward to it.
on the bright side, sweden approaches very very soon! the days are passing by more quickly than i expected, and yeah, there's heaps of exciting things to look forward to :
- da vinci code opening 18th may
- x-men 3 opening 25th may
- shopping :p the itch to spend money is taking ahold of me.
- sweden, singapore.
i haven't been to band for like 1 month already :p and i'm not going till next term. sorry cheryl, sorry emily :p har.. have fun with magillen and the rest of the band :p
err.. yea, what have i been up to lately aside from cramming general..? i've watched 'I Not Stupid Too' and i simply can't get over it (i know if i talk to you on a regular basis, you're probably like OMG shut up about it already) but yeah, it was one thing that appealed to me very personally, making me appreciate all the more my living here. i'm stressed, but i'm going fine. plus, omg, the actors have grown up and whoa they're HOT now. check it out. i nearly spasmed when i saw them, hot hair and dimples all in.. ahhhh.. and asian singaporean too :D hehe..yeah, it made me miss singapore heaps, and i cried tons for some of the things that hit me too close to home.

lately i've also been hit by a chinese-song craze.. so yeah, zhang dong liang's been up on my playlist quite a bit, along with switchfoot. fave songs of the moment : huang hun, ji mo bian jie, and learning to breathe. err.. not that i can actually read all of it :p but HEY, i'm chipping away at it slowly. my chinese has deproved tremendously since i came here - and if you knew me in singapore, you'd know there wasn't much to deprove on in the first place :p so yeah, my chinese is utterly a disgrace now (all those years of memorizing for nothing too!) the other day, i wrote dong(winter) as dong(the direction)..=
oh and i think i have speech problems, because here are words i cannot for the life of me say.
-ham relish swiss cheese. (swiss being the problem, but i can say it if i don't say relish in front) i was trying to read the ingredients of one of the canteen wraps - speaking of which, canteen food is getting more and more gross every day.

haha.. anyway, shan't be blogging much after this, life lately has been dreary and boring, except that i have a new found (not really new) but stronger than ever fetish with pineapples, shoes, chocolate and shopping.
