it was very very crowded and my feet hurt. on the upside, we danced ourselves out :p melb high guys are very very hot and very very smart (in general) there were 2 levels, one playing house and one playing rnb. rnb had more hot asian guys :p hahahha.. yes.. and for the first one hour it sucked coz the music and dancing hadn't warmed up yet.. then everyone was really into it and there were random guys dancing quite close everywhere =| hahah but it was fun though :p yes with dancing and socials you have to go with the right people or you won't feel like dancing much lol and got home like 12 or something anyway.. feet kill but i'm a happy girl.. some pics :p too lazy to blog much bout it ..

lousy australians who are too lazy to work on public holidays!! :( that makes me very upset indeed becoz i intended to spent tomorrow (anzac day - will someone pleaseee explain to me the significance of anzac day to me? because seriously -.- i have no idea at all.. all i know is that people eat nice anzac biscuits :p yes.. quite nice indeed) anyway piffity.. since there aren't going to be any shops open tomorrow and i'm like possibly the only person alive who wants to watch a movie with matthew mcconnaughey in it (whatever happened to his fans.. maybe he's exceeded this generation .. =x but sarah jessica parker! i like her shoes! to be honest, *confession* i only watch sex and the city because she has alot of shoes in it, and i'm sure it's quite clear by now that shoes make me happy :p oh and of course, it is quite funny as well.)

lousy norweigians and swedish think that everyone reads swedish -.- i was surfing some tourism sites and didn't catch nothing coz it was all written in gibberish. someone should inform their tourism board that if people were surfing their tourism sites and would thus be classified under tourists, there is a large likelihood of them not being from that area and hence, not reading swedish -.-

erm.. very extremely strict methods teacher who makes us sign a lunchtime detention slip if we're late. it's pretty funny to see a horde of twenty five or so methods students stampeding madly towards methods.. not so funny if you're one of the twenty five.


still no shopping tomorrow *breaks into tears* as you can tell i am deeply affected and devastated by that relevation that good shops here don't open on public holidays and there are only (as expected) dodgy asian shops. ah, my life is henceforth incomplete :( this is one of those times i really miss singapore coz all the shops are always open, whenever.

i watched a tale of two sisters after 2 years' of curiousity and hesitation. not the kind that eats at me, you understand - that's more like.. an itch. :p and when i get itches, i scratch them. quick, too. anyway, it was um, quite.. scary.. indeed o.0 because at 12.30 i was still procrastinating going to bed coz i didn't exactly wanna walk by the kitchen sink and see something freaky underneath, or open the fridge and see a mutilated raw fish inside, or wake up in the middle of the night and see fingers >< asian horror films always seem to be scarier maybe coz asians are scarier in general lol.. :p anyway isaac was quite scared :p even more terrified than me, what a big baby lol :p joke =p and mau mau was so cute :p he put his hood way up and sank way down.. lol..

yippeee! methods test over. didn't go too dismally, so it should be okay. and i got my eng outcome back. that was all good.
all in all, school made me a very happy person (albeit the disgustingly cold weather) till i came home and turned the key into a cold, empty house.

in any case, i was in such a cbb mood today that all i did was pig out on junk food - trust me, for a junk foodie like me, when i say that, it means ultra junk food pigging out -.- and i wagged dance, and i didnt go to a21 or shopping or whatever.

ended up watching the cave. which was so predictable, it was funny =p muahahaha.

quite tired. i wanna go shopping and watch she's the man tomorrow. o.0 work on tuesday and shopping and er..perhaps.. social.. on friday? :p

taking a break from methods. not that i've been doing much, but i really can't slog through more at the moment, when the feeling to blog is overtaking me :p

yes.. the past few days have been draining.. very very tired both physically and more..

of course, stressing bout that certain methods outcome didn't help very much.. i've gotten back 2 outcomes, general, which i did completely shieet for, and lit, which i did pretty ok.

the bruise on my leg is becoming green. how exciting. from red, to purple, to green. it's pretty gross, i've been avoiding wearing socks all week coz the bruises show, so i've resorted to stockings :p or people would think im a victim of child abuse

speaking of kids.. kids are so tiring, it's not funny. those little buggers take infinte amounts of patience and calmness to deal with. my little cousin's been scampering around the house noisily. hes cute, but hes soooo naughty sometimes i just wanna sit on him -.- especially when he whacks my keyboard.. ive already threatened to sit on him =| dont think its working very well.. maybe im not ominous enough.

mm.. which reminds me that the grumpies are heading home on friday. =( i shall miss them like crazy. i feel bad sometimes not spending more time with them. grandpa looked very sad and diminished today for some reason.. aww.. and the two grumpies provide me with lots of laughs and family comforts.. somehow without them bickering away in the background or snoring simultaneously or doing their own individual peaceful activities, the house seems to lack some kind of familiarity and the feeling of "home".. pretty soon they'll be gone and i'll have to get used to turning the key into a house that will have become extraordinarly empty without grandpa standing at the window, watching and waiting for us to come home, or watching tv, or snoozing while the tv's on.. and when you grab the remote and turn off the tv, he wakes up and claims he was watching it all along.. or grandma pottering away in her domain, the kitchen and the smells of her food wafting through the air..the minor uproar when grandpa steals food he's not supposed to =\ or makes a mess with his endearing clumsiness..

alright.. easter camp weekend. i confess i went with much apprehension wondering if this was gonna be a camp i'd spend thinking about unnecessary things for want to occupy myself.. i also wondered if maybe i was gonna be one of those losers that stick themselves in the room all day coz i'm a social recluse..

(btw) i'm blogging coz i'm so tired and my brain's fried. i'd given up on methods (oh joy) and decided to abandon methods till my mind's more refreshed at least for chinese :p i treat chinese so second-rate, it's not funny :p it's the only subject i do with the music blasting, tv on, or chatting on the phone or msning or something.. lol.. anyway back to camp.

the weather was awful till today (how ironic).

the highlights of camp i suppose was a heap of realizations that enlightened me on lots of things.. a few observations i've made this year is that us younger ones in church seem to be aging already - previously when we'd be hyper and unstoppably noisy we're now more toned down and grounded - we spent a free-time session with most people glued to their various studies..which was quite impressive, really, because think about it - since when does a whole group of friends sit down and do work together in an extremely docile and mild manner when they're on camp?

as for my spiritual life; yes it's been enriched much indeed with the things i learnt from camp. one thing that touched me though, was aaron's baptism. it never fails to amaze me how god can place his special touch on every individual's life; how he nurtures everyones hurts and strengthens their shortcomings..and turns it into an awesome living testimony to the power of christ's miracles (:

as to the "loner" aspect of things.. i guess it turned out unexpectedly okay. for the first day i suffered from bouts of pms and stayed grumpy and moody (sorry everyone - didn't mean to) :p girls use pms as an excuse for everything.. joke ! :p but i eventually did get to spend bucketloads (or at least enough) time with the important people. sooo.. to the following people who made my camp more special -

bena : hey dear.. you probably won't even chance upon this.. but i want you to know that i really appreciate you coming for camp and i know, no matter how lonerish or anything i could feel, what you feel probably would be ten times worse coz you're new and all.. and i'm sorry for being grumpy sometimes and perhaps in that neglecting you.. but this camp wouldn't have been the same if not for your company :p (and i'm still diligently trying to learn canto and i believe i will accomplish that someday!) and i love you lots and lots, and it's wonderful to have a sister in christ like you (: you've been there for me every single time i needed you and even though we bicker and you get abusive :p lol, i love you anyways.. very very much =)

pris : hey minion :p *sigh* we've had our share of good days and bad days eh? let me know anytime you need a hug, i'll be there.. and we'll get through this together.. i promise we will with God leading us and guiding our way! p.s. you're the best minion ever.. no one takes care of or "mums" me as well as you do!

debbo : eyyy.. probably my "oldest" friend from church considering how our paths crossed a long long time ago.. it was great catching up with you and i've missed you since you left youth and bhs.. hardly see you around anymore.. but it's awesome to see your motivation and fire for the things you've set your sights on, and i dearly hope you'll keep working at that.. thanks for being there as well.. whenever i needed you *hugs* and i hope we'll have lots more church camp memories to come..

oh and the mission team (more or less) was briefly united when chunni came down :) with flora as well.. *nods* it was a good thing.. and we saw tina or "timina" again.. yep we've missed him and his silliness lol.. memories, memories.

and i finally did get to watch saw 2 (i forgot who recommended it to me ages ago) but yes.. damn sick indeed :p that same night i also watched the end of passion of christ.. it scared me.. even though i always had this prefixed impression of the whole procedure of cruxification that segment was so visually poignant that now when i think of the love that it takes to die on the cross for sins that aren't even yours.. well.. ouchies..

came back and started packing, half-heartedly tossing things all over the room :p then mum came back and wasn't too happy so i had to start cleaning up again. went for pee-no ;p and then to buy food and toiletries for camp.

and i forced my mum to go into the shop to buy a fried mars bar since i wanted to go in again after that :p lol, fried mars bars are cool. they're my newest addiction.

then to columbo's for maurice's birthday dinner. saw shane and jen get off at the tram stop :p shane always wears the same shirt and has this particular way of walking, so i knew it had to be him - didn't realize it was jen he was with though :p anyway.. turns out we were all headed to columbos - silly mr. mau though, late as usual - today he made a new record for lateness -.- two hours!! we called him and he was in springvale -.- we were like.. "um.. what are you.. doing.. in springvale?!!" anyway we all ordered and ate first :p lol

and mr. mau came when we were nearly finished :p me and tracy were sliming each other all throughout and discovered ray's best at sliming :p and maggie and i had a big staring competition till her eyes watered :p took 123847128471 photos which are on zhen's cam, coming soon! and shane, i realized :p has the guy version of my hair lol curl and color too -.- and the safeway cake came lol and i returned mr. mau his birthday hug :)

anyway, i ate fried mars bars today :p my life is complete. for those who are like "eww" or "...." or "...?what the.." no joke, fried mars bars are awesome. outside is crunchy and hot, inside is soft gooey melty chocolate nougat and caramel *drool* yer i walked all the way to whitehorse road to get fried mars bars at 1.30 per fun sized fried mars bar :p we asked the dude if we could get our own chocolate for him to fry and he said cannot -.- so we were quite sad indeed :p lol i'm so excited by fried mars bars that i'll bring anyone who's curious (spread the love) :p

woke up, went to hairdresser's, got my hair done.

the finished product of hair. i was quite hungry and i felt like eating my hair since it resembled delectable cinnamon scrolls :p lol.
then got makeup done. i took a look in the mirror, nearly fainted, and begged her to remove some makeup. there was sooo much makeup on me, i felt like my face was about to crack when i smiled. worse still, it made my face feel quite saggy.
then rushed to buy last minute essentials like hollywood tape (thank god for that) and fake nails (don't last awfully long but looks hooot)
this was a very big fake hand nail which i attempted to stick onto my toe :p in the carpark of shoppo. priscilla was trying to be helpful when i whined about it falling off :p
and then went home, got changed (took forever with the stupid nails, silly me i should've done them after) and rushed to jan's house where shauna fretted over doing jan's makeup. she ordered us all out of the room :p and to pass the time, chris (shauna's bf) did magic tricks that kept me quite entertained.
melina as usual was obsessing over jack liang.
we hustled jan out of the house so that anita wouldn't kill us :p and stood shivering outside anu's waiting for people and the limo.
and of course took pictures while waiting.

they gave out awards like fakest tan (how mean) for which the prize was an exfoliator to remove it, and biggest cleavage (gosh, that girl's boobs were popping out of her dress. she flashed in the toilet while fixing it i was like *covers eyes and hides*) and there were drunk people making out in the lounge. best dressed was so.. *ugh* pris and chris said it looked like she was a walking lampshade../
side note on the afterparty : i heard it got pretty wild, apparently some guy chucked glass at the bartender for refusing to give him drinks.. the druggies went absolutely psycho and some girl got kicked in the back and hit her head.. there was an ambulance and the cops came and broke up the afterparty by 1.30..and i heard jan got drunk after 2 vodka cruisers and proceeded to barf quite abit. hahha! silly girl. she passed out and someone took a photo.
when she woke up all the excitement was over :p
