the beach is awesome! azure blue skies, sparkling seawater (yes, actual water, not some compound of pee and liquid rubbish like in singapore) soft white sand..bright hot sun..the smell of the sea and the waves bobbing you up and down..*sigh* i love the beach. i've been converted into a beach-hater to a beach-lover. maybe it's the bad experience in singapore. note to everyone: beaches in singapore are awful. don't even bother visiting them.)
i had so much fun yesterday. although the first bit (sitting in church with my boardshorts riding up were really uncomfortable) and i took my first ride in tim's lexus. we went to glenferrie for food first :p and met clara! i miss her. haven't seen her since china, and she went to hongkong to work and came back since then. wow. =\ time does fly. it seems like just a short while ago i was talking to clara in guizhou. oh well. :p memories to tuck away, time to make more memories! :)
then followed the long drive to chelsea, which i guess was a good choice because since it's out of the way lesser people go there and its not like overly populated like st kilda. on the way there, we were discussing crabs. anyone know if they have six legs or eight? =x we couldn't work it out. and what about fish? do you say fish for plural or fishes? tim said you say fishes when its a few species together, but why can't you say, different species of fish instead of fishes? alright, i'm confusing myself now :p
anyway, most of us got in the water as quickly as we can. it was an awesome experience :) and yeah, i overchipped, because all i practically ate yesterday was chips. (and here, chips mean fries.) :)
then it got late, and pris, em and i swapped over to sit in the terago for the ride back :p and it was so much more fun. it was like the choir car :p coldplay was blasting and we were singing at the top of our lungs lol and chris even bounced the car =p and the drivers near us were like =\ probably thinking "bloody p-plate drivers!!" lol!
then we bummed at chris's and i discovered that i am very bad at poker. anyway, i got a sunburn and i don't feel any darker :(
and back to school today! how bad is that, when i'm already in holiday mood! this holidays, i wanna bake, shop, and beach :p next holidays, i wanna go to sydney (for hillsongs conference), and the holiday at the end of the year, queensland! (for fun!) imagine if chris and tim drove up! man.. i'm dreaming already :p it's not definite, but it's an idea :p cos everyone seems keen on it. now that we have drivers, it's even more of a possibility. :p
