hey all! no, i'm still alive. =\ it's been a killer of a week though. the first week of school always is. i'm sorta glad to be dad-less again (he's just gone back for a whole month - oh joy.) and now i can finally breathe sort of normally and stop tip-toeing around the house.

soo. the highlight of the week! it was really making lots of new friends. i used to be painfully shy and so not assertive at all (not that i am now) but i've just discovered that it's really not that hard after all. last year, i had "ready-made" friends. i came and *bam* i was introduced to the group. this year since the classes are so random, i've had to stick it out and make friends xD and guess what? it's so easy! all i have to do is ignore the fact that i don't know them. once you open up you never run out of topics to talk about, plus the other people do respond :)

i've got my first ton of homework already. no, it was not fun slogging through the weekend. i'm managing though, so it should be ok. *note the positive tone here with 9 pages of long answers to questions about Pride and Prejudice. like the social framework and its significance.. like..riiight..i care..soo much..about an era that's totally dead. someone shoot me. sometimes i wonder why i'm even doing double englishes and double mathses. by the way, did i mention that i really really wanna watch The Fog? lol! the girl's voice in the trailer screaming "there is something in the fog!" keeps on resounding. plus, even if it is stupid and rambly and plotless which the oh-so-original title implies, it's got the smallville guy in it - Tom Wellington. now with him, i could sit through hell and come back :p he is hoootttt.

oh! i got awesome piano scores for some really..really..good songs *wink* to those who know my obsessions with certain songs and why..lol..

the weekend was quite uneventful. youth started up again.. and stuff. i was pretty much too pissed to take note of things. dad as usual pushed my buttons and really ticked me off. so sunday came with a relief that he was leaving - oh and timmy got his new lexus. i sat in it and inhaled. yup, it smells wonderfully new. :) pretty car. i wanna steal it.

so this year promises to be busy already with me joining band, (maybe) choir, hiphop, tennis (i have to get around to signing up) and i've just submitted an application for work.

did i mention? i also arranged my work experience at the law firm already. :)

i had my first open-eyed sleep today. don't ask me how i managed it. i think i was really stoned. =\ photo taking was absolutely crap, we had a dust storm so the group photos are gonna be all squinty eyed and hair whipping into our faces like crazy lunatics and a screwed-up nose because the dust was really making my nose itch. try that for pose of the year. oh well. school photos always suck anyway.

tomorrow's my best day in a fortnight - double english and double general. it's an easy day tomorrow, and i get double spares! woo-hoo!!!!

...and it's only monday. someone kill me now.
