as I blog, I'm trawling the australian TV guide for free-to-air television -.- do not comment on how lowly my life is or i shall bite you xD. well, it's drama wednesday and i am absolutely uninterested. as you may have noticed, i'm a bit more of a morbid CSI freak :D with the exceptions of long twisty plots that don't make sense a.k.a lost/alias. note the similarity here : produced by the same person. oh, and i can't forget desperate housewives and sex and the city (in?) or (and?) whatever, for its quirks and quotes about sex, the ever fasinating topic. *rolls eyes*
i had a relatively uninteresting day today (well, i don't think it can get any more interesting when you're a high school girl with more than 5/6 of her life spent in school monotonously dragging your way to dreaded classes and sitting through most of them attempting to look like you understand. ah, the tragedy of my life.)
except! we've officially concluded pride and prejudice. bye-bye, elizabeth bennet and mr. darcy. hello, catherine and heathcliffe of wuthing heights. =| boy, what a difference. one's a light hearted satiric novel about social conventions (and of course the sidelong romance :p) and the other's a dark stormy tragic tale of love transcending the grave. (sounds familiar? i reckon it could be a lot less dry than romeo and juliet. i never liked them. i always was of the opinion that they were stupid ._. and
really there's no need to like, kill yourself over such trivial matters as your love dying ^^ ) you certainly won't see
me jabbing a knife through my heart if my husband dies. nope, i'll just mourn for a suitable period, and go shopping to spend the insurance money :p oops. too much desperate housewives for me. that sounded a bit gabrielle-ish.
anyway, for the purposes of not offending anyone while being able to share my funny experience today :p i shall call the person ..um.. A. (yeah, i've learnt from melina's blogging experience.)
sister (xc) and me (xn) are sitting around in the living room, signing in to msn straightaway after getting home. yes, this is our daily routine.
*msn beeps*
*xc and xn get into their respective places in front of their laptops about 10ms away from each other*
*msn alert*
B signs in.
xc and xn: YUCK.
B signs in again.
this time...
xn: omgosh. argh! take it away! take it away! *panics and proceeds to wave hands around frantically in front of THE unwanted pop-up msn alert*
xc: ooooooooooh *stewing*
it was one of those things that you had to be there. ok, i know that was totally redundant. maybe i should just get back to my work now. =| formal tickets are starting to be on sale as of tomorrow. $55 bucks; what a rip-off.
can You take it all away?
